There is no feature cap — the entire local app is free.
02 Can I edit mind maps in the Free tier?
Yes — full editing, layout control, and custom themes are all included in Free. There is no read-only or view-only restriction.
03 What's a Pro licence?
Pro is a perpetual commercial-use license — a one-time purchase that lets you use MarkNode commercially (at work, for clients, or in any business context). It doesn't unlock new features; it grants the legal right to use the app for commercial purposes, plus lifetime updates and an Owner's Rate discount on Ultimate.
04 Can I use the Free edition commercially?
Free covers personal, non-commercial use. If you're using MarkNode for work or client projects, buy a Pro licence or subscribe to Ultimate.
