MarkNode 2.1.5

Improvements

  • Clickable Cards in Find and Problems Panels: The getting-started cards shown when the Find or Problems panel is empty are now clickable — click one to launch Find in Files, Find References, Find Unused Images, or Check References directly.
  • Smoother Start in an Empty Project: In a new, empty project the hint now sits neatly at the top of the file explorer, and creating your first document uses quick inline naming right in the file tree instead of a separate popup.
  • Feedback Form Pre-Fills Your Email: When you’re signed in, the feedback form fills in your email address for you.
  • Cleaner App Store Edition: Features that aren’t available in the Mac App Store edition — the integrated terminal, Git integration, and auto-update — are now hidden instead of appearing but not working.
  • Tidier Edit Menu: Menu items for features that aren’t ready yet no longer appear in the Edit menu.

Bug Fixes

  • Single Title Bar on Dialog Windows: On Windows and Linux, dialog windows no longer show two stacked title bars, and fixed-size dialogs no longer show a maximize button that can’t do anything.
  • Preview Stays in Sync While Scrolling: Fixed a regression where the preview pane gradually drifted away from the editor position while scrolling through long documents.
  • Continuous Text Selection Highlight: Selecting text across multiple lines no longer shows unpainted gaps between the highlighted rows.
  • Mind Map Popups Readable in Every Theme: The mind map layout and theme galleries — along with the find bar and emoji picker — now render with proper colors in dark and other non-default themes.
  • Mind Map Connectors No Longer Cross: Connector lines from the central topic now fan out cleanly even when some topics span multiple lines, instead of crossing each other.
  • Mind Map Collapse Toggle Stays Clickable: The collapse/expand toggle next to a node no longer becomes unclickable after the node refreshes, such as when its marker changes.
  • Images and Links Above the Document’s Folder: Images and links that point upward out of the current folder (using ../) now load and open correctly in the preview, anywhere within your project.
  • Backups Show Only the Current Project on Windows: The backup list on Windows is now correctly filtered to the project you’re working in.
